(KOLN) - Lancaster County offered people with outstanding misdemeanor warrants a chance to clear them without arrest during a âWarrant Wipeoutâ event Thursday at the Lancaster County Courtrooms. Ninety-eight people showed up, allowing them to resolve their warrants and avoid potential arrest during the holiday season.

Nebraska Wrestler Arrested Overnight on Outstanding Warrant
One of Nebraska wrestling's top offseason additions is legal trouble. AJ Ferrari was arrested overnight in Lincoln and booked by the Lancaster County Department of Corrections. The charge for his booking was as a fugitive from justice to be extradited to Texas for a previous issue in the Lone Star State.

Machaela Cavanaugh of Omaha over her removal and later return of part of an art display at the Nebraska Capitol. Sheriff Terry Wagner told the Lincoln Journal Star on Friday that an investigator had been assigned to review evidence related to the incident and conduct interviews.
